Cottage Directions arriving from Te Anau: Heading
east on Hwy 94 it's about 16 kms to the
Hillside Road turn, noted above, the turn
will be on your right. Mararoa Cottage
Directions arriving from
Manapouri: When
exiting Te Anau, follow the Lakefront
Road and you will see the Manapouri sign/turn.
After you enter the village of
Manapouri, turn left at the intersection
/ T Junction for Hillside Road. Stay on
Hillside road for approximately 12
minutes and you will see the kilometer
marker 1128 and a rainbow coloured bus
shelter. The entrance for Mararoa Cottage
is opposite the bus shelter, on your
right.
Check-in
with the manager at the main house please
or, if pre-arranged, continue on down the
drive-way to Mararoa Cottage. Welcome!

rental and Kayaking trips.
Doubtful Sound Cruise booking
office is located in Manapouri at the
Real Journeys Visitors Centre. And
several hiking tracks within easy reach
of Mararoa Cottage including The Kepler Track

Directions - arriving via
Hwy 94 from Mossburn: The sign/turn
for "Hillside Road/Manapouri" is on
your left, about 45 minutes drive west of
Mossburn. After you make the turn from Hwy 94
onto Hillside Rd, it's about 4 kms to the
driveway entrance for Mararoa Cottage - you will
see a rainbow coloured bus shelter opposite the
driveway to the cottage.
